**The Role**:
As an NDIS Support Coordinator, you will play a vital role in our organisation by assisting individuals with disabilities in navigating the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and coordinating their supports. You will have the opportunity to embody and promote our core values through your work. Your responsibilities will include:

- **Compassion**: Demonstrating empathy, understanding, and a caring approach while supporting individuals with disabilities and their families.
- **Empowerment**: Assisting participants in identifying their goals, strengths, and aspirations, and working collaboratively to develop and implement individualised support plans that empower them to achieve their full potential.
- **Inclusivity**: Ensuring that participants have access to a wide range of services and opportunities that respect their cultural, linguistic, and individual diversity, and actively promoting inclusivity in all aspects of support coordination.
- **Collaboration**: Liaising and building effective relationships with participants, their families, carers, support workers, and allied health professionals to facilitate holistic and coordinated support, while fostering a collaborative approach that recognizes the importance of teamwork.
- **Quality**: Upholding high standards of service delivery, adhering to NDIS guidelines, maintaining accurate records, and continuously seeking to improve the quality of support provided.

**Requirements**:

- A strong understanding of the NDIS framework, principles, and funding categories.
- Minimum 1 year of previous experience in NDIS support coordination or Local Area Coordination role.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships based on compassion, respect, and trust.
- Highly organised with excellent time management skills, ensuring efficient and effective coordination of supports.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think creatively to find innovative solutions.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities, while promoting their rights, dignity, and self-determination.
- A current driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Higher Education in a relevant field is beneficial but not required.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 18 per week

**Salary**: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
