The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) is the leading standards body responsible for the training and education of specialists and GP obstetricians in obstetrics and gynaecology in Australia and New Zealand.

**Description**:
The Victorian and Tasmanian Member Engagement Lead is responsible for assisting and delivering the operational objectives in alignment with the RANZCOG strategic plan. You will support the Senior Executives, management and colleagues in delivering high quality infrastructure, planning, and management. You will work extensively with various committees as well as oversee the diverse Training work in Victoria and Tasmania, including processing of trainee documentation and management of complex training matters.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Support the planning and delivery of State and Territory Symposiums in conjunction with the Victorian Committee working party and the Events team.
Monitor the progress of trainees in the training programs and respond to trainee enquiries, including complex training matters which are sensitive.
Manage end to end local State educational activities.
Collaborate with College House Staff to assist in the coordination of local workshops and meetings, FRANZCOG National selection and exams.
Provide efficient and effective support to the State and Territory Training and Accreditation Committee, State and Territory Committee and relevant Chairs as well as any other sub committees. Including the organisation and preparation of meetings and reports to the Board and Council.
Manage and report on events and trainee engagement via approved College platforms.
State/Territory financial budgeting which includes planning, development and forecasting.
Manage administrative support for the recording of trainee progress in the training program.
Maintain and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Proactive advocacy and engagement with other Colleges, Hospitals, Local Health Networks, Universities and State/Territory Department of Health.
Responsible for the supervision of one Member Engagement Coordinator including organising training, delegation of work and performance reviews.

**Skills and Experiences**:
Sound experience in administrative tasks involving the organisation of meetings, teleconferences and committee management and support, including experience in preparing agendas and minutes of meetings.
Demonstrated experience in planning and managing successful educational activities.
Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, while being resilient to an evolving organisation.
Demonstrated exceptional verbal and written skills to interact clearly, succinctly and professionally with a diverse range of stakeholders, individuals or groups.
Ability to work autonomously and in teams while being tactful with sensitive matters and retaining confidentiality.
Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines, set priorities and operate independently using your initiative within a small team environment.
Well-developed time management and organisational skills, including sound judgement and the ability to independently plan, set priorities and produce high quality results within specified timeframes.
Demonstrated knowledge, experience and skills using online computer platforms and relevant office software programs which include Microsoft Office. Ability to provide AV support for local events - Zoom Meetings (technical ability is essential).
An interest in and commitment to issues concerning women’s health; and an interest in health education, with a positive attitude towards developing further skills in an educational setting.
Previous experience in supervising and managing a small team.

This role requires some out of hours work on weekdays and weekends and may require some travel within Australia and New Zealand. The College offers time off in lieu and flexible working arrangements at times when out of hours work is required.
