**About the team**
The Raine Study cohort is one of the largest successful prospective longitudinal cohorts of pregnancy, childhood, adolescence and adulthood to be carried out anywhere in the world. The cohort participants (approximately 2000) are lifelong volunteers of the Raine Study, and continue to maintain a keen sense of commitment to the Raine Study.
The Raine Study team has been collecting prospective data at multiple time-points over the past 33 years by undertaking in-person and online assessments from this same cohort of participants (Generation 2) who are now turning 33 years old, their parents (Generation 1), and the cohort’s own children (Generation 3). There are currently more than 250 researchers from broad areas of research utilising the data that the Raine Study has collected.
**About the opportunity**
Gen 1 will be responsible for the contact, recruitment and scheduling of the Raine Study Generation 1 participants, to attend their follow up appointments. Your role will also include distributing questionnaires, data entry into established databases and various modes of contact with participants, whilst following privacy protocols to safeguard participant information.
Gen 2 will be responsible for the contact, recruitment and scheduling of the Gen2 Raine Study participants, for their follow up appointments. Your role will also include distributing questionnaires, data entry into established databases and various modes of contact with participants, whilst following privacy protocols to safeguard participant information.
To be considered for either of these roles, you will demonstrate:
- Year 12 or equivalent experience in a related discipline
- Well-developed telephone manner and interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in dealing with people of all ages and backgrounds
- Well-developed organisation and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Competent computer skills including Microsoft Office, data entry, appointment scheduling
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn research methodology and good clinical practice and protocols associated with privacy and confidentiality
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Note:
A current National Police Clearance (NPC) is a requirement of this position.
It is desirable that the applicant is available to work flexible and after hours and/or a Saturday on a rotating roster
