Our client is seeking a temporary Secretary/Administrator for a contract role commencing 5th December for 2 months, with a possibility of extension.
**Duties**:
- Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Planning Services Team
- Attend to daily phone enquiries
- Arrange meetings and appointments for Managers and Coordinators
- Prepare and collate Reports, Bulletins and all other correspondence
- Maintaining and efficient and effective filing system
- Assist in providing advice to the public with respect to current planning issues
**Essential**:
- Well developed typing and word processing (min 70wpm)
- Well developed written and verbal communication skills
- Sound customer service/interpersonal skills
- Sound knowledge of MS Office
- Sound knowledge of agenda/minute preparation
- Knowledge of TRIM and Authority systems (Desirable)
**Experience**:
- Previous experience in performing secretarial/administrative duties
- Relevant experience in MS Office products, particularly Word and Excel
- Relevant experience in a customer service role
- Cert III Business Administration or equivalent (Desirable)
- Current C Class Drivers Licence
