**ABOUT US**

The South Australian Certificate of Education Board (SACE Board) of South Australia’s primary role is the provision of the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) to government, non-government and international schools.

**The IMPACT you will drive at the SACE Board**

**What you will BRING**
- Experience in the writing of test scenarios, test cases, test scripts, test plans and test reports on multiple projects of varying size.
- Experience in the software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing of system modifications to prepare for implementation.
- Experience in exploratory and/or session-based testing techniques and interpreting specifications.
- Experience in navigation through complex relational databases and with relational database design principles, Structured Query Language (SQL), Microsoft Visual Basic, and relevant tools such as ODBC and current trends in the IT industry.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and effectively, both independently and within teams, to achieve agreed outcomes.
- Knowledge/experience of automation, test management and defect management tools (e.g., HP ALM and JIRA) and methodologies and an ability to drive new techniques and tools.

**Qualifications**

A qualification in Computing Science or a related discipline is desirable.

**Special Conditions**
- Some out-of-hours work.
- The incumbent works under the SACE Board of South Australia Act 1983.
- Voluntary flexible working arrangements.
- Intrastate travel to regional and remote locations; international and interstate travel may be required.

**Remuneration**

ASO5 classification level. $84,522 - $94,003 per annum plus superannuation.

This is a term vacancy up to 3 years.
