About the role:
Reporting to the Test Manager, the Test Analyst will provide key quality assurance using modern IT testing methods as a part of the testing team. The Test Analyst will utilise their strong technical, analytical and communication skills to facilitate the establishment and maintenance of effective working relationships with technology delivery teams and other key stakeholders. Working closely with the Test Manager, test team and other technology delivery teams, the Test Analyst will understand the requirements and relevant outcomes to increase the probability of project success.

Key responsibilities:

- Deliver quality functional and project work by supporting the delivery of technology and business testing requirements
- Review and analyse problems independently and report problems in line with current IT standards
- Provide ongoing technical advice, support and project management services to RevenueSA
- Develop and manage testing services to support RevenueSA billing and financial management revenue collection and grant management business technology systems
- Develop test scripts, contribute to the development of master test plans and own the testing execution, including developing and maintaining automated testing solutions for new functional requirement and BAU changes
- Contribute to the technical, business and organisational impacts of business system changes and manage changes efficiently and to a high standard

Key requirements:

- ISTQB certification or equivalent
- Experience across several project management principles including Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid delivery and in complex, mission critical programs of work
- Hands on experience with XML, JSON, Txt, Excel and CSV
- Excellent understanding of SDLC and QA methodology
- Knowledge of test management tools such as HP-ALM, Zephyr plugin in Jira
- Demonstrated knowledge of BDD Cucumber and API framework and Hybrid Framework adoptions
- Knowledge of tools such as Selenium, Postman, SOAPUI, TestNG, Jira, MongoDB, SQL, Jenkins, CI-CD pipelines, Git commands
- Experience in Banking or Finance related projects

Overall you will have excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders of all levels. You will have experience in test landscapes that include many integrated systems, various stakeholders and multiple teams. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join the project team on a 12 month contract based in a fantastic Adelaide CBD location.
