Metropole Guest House is part of a privately owned Hotel Group with a very fresh focus, offering complete Blue Mountains holiday experiences to our guests. We are seeking an enthusiastic Front Office Receptionist to join our innovative team.

The Front Office Receptionist will have:

- Have exceptional customer service skills
- Have excellent communication skills
- Have basic computer skills
- Have the ability to multitask and perform a variety of duties
- Have the ability to problem solve and perform well under pressure
- Have the flexibility to work at all of our properties located within Katoomba
- Be able to work unsupervised and as part of a team
- Have the ability to contribute to the friendly atmosphere of our properties

.Key Responsibilities:
As Front Office Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our valued guests. You will be responsible for greeting, checking in and checking out guests as well as providing local information and ticket sales for tours and activities, and actively engage in offering a memorable Blue Mountains experience to our guests. General administrative duties include making bookings through our reservations system, answering phone inquiries and cash and Eftpos reconciliation. Other duties include liaising with Housekeeping and Maintenance staff, general cleaning of common areas and attending to any issues that may arise.

Front Office Receptionist - min 25 hours per week to 38 hours per week

The successful applicants will be available to work on a 7 day a week rotating roster and will include weekend shifts.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
