**The role**

The Information and Cyber Risk Specialist is responsible for promoting and enhancing a strong cyber and technical risk culture within the organisation. They work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies that foster awareness, understanding, and proactive management of cyber and technical risks. The specialist also plays a key role in identifying and assessing cyber and technical risks associated with water-related projects and operations, ensuring the safe and secure delivery of water services. They will also be responsible for ensuring business continuity, disaster recovery and incident management.

**What you’ll bring**
- A relevant tertiary IT qualification and/or extensive IT experience.
- Demonstrated experience in IT security strategy development and implementing IT security programs.
- Experience in cybersecurity and risk management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead others.
- Strong analytical skills to solve complex technical problems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills and experience working effectively in cross-functional teams.
