**About the role**
Stepping in to the role of Mortgage Broker, and reporting to the Head of Distribution you will play a pivotal role in fulfilling the companies mission of providing better solutions to customers. Your primary responsibility will be acquiring new home loan clients by delivering innovative home loan solutions with this organisation’s market leading loan products. Engaging both internally and externally, you will build and maintain strategic relationships, ensuring commitment to excellence and adherence to regulatory compliance.

**Responsibilities**:

- Identify, develop and maintain strategic alliances with referral partners
- Meet compliance requirements including NCCP
- Identify and understand customer goals and objectives using effective questioning techniques
- Develop expert understanding of products, policies, and process in order to give the best customer experience
- Respond to and resolve customer queries in a timely manner
- Actively engage in local community and business events

**About You**
To be successful in this role you have a track record as a broker in the home loan industry. You are driven, well organised and building genuine business relationships is part of your way of doing business. Strong communication skills are one of your strengths, along with commercial acumen and problem solving abilities. You are a skilled negotiator with deep knowledge of the Australian home loan industry, matched with personal presence and excellent presentation.
