We are seeking a highly motivated
**Transport Operator** to join our friendly Ocean Freight team based in Alexandria (NSW).

**What you will be responsible for?**
- Execute multi-modal FCL pre/on-carriage services (Hinterland Transportation) by truck (LTL) or rail
- Communicate shipment/transport progress with relevant parties
- Action & progress pickup and delivery requests
- Action 'drayage requests' from Hub/Gateway Operations
- Determine optimal vendor, routing and price
- Provide delivery/pick up/drayage instructions to vendors
- Confirm pick up/delivery and empty container return
- Confirm container delivery to the Container Yard

**What are we looking for?**
- Local knowledge of Ocean product, processes and requirements
- Experience in Ocean Freight Forwarding
- Ability to react and perform well under pressure
- Ability to multi-task
- Effective communication skills and professional etiquette
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Attention to detail and accuracy
