My client is an established multi-family office based in the inner-eastern suburbs of Melbourne. With the goal of investing in high-quality investments and a proven track record of success in international and local markets, the team is fast becoming well-known for its expertise and highly selective, strategic approach to opportunities. The multi-family office provides services to the Founders, including treasury, compliance and ad-hoc advisory services.

Due to a recent promotion, my client is looking to appoint a talented Bookkeeper to join their dynamic finance team and take ownership of the day-to-day functions such as; compliance, reporting, reconciliations, accounts payable and ad-hoc projects.

The role will be dynamic and challenging and requires someone who is “hands-on”, accountable and organised. There will be an opportunity to work across several interesting workstreams, and will report to the Financial Controller and CIO.

**Upon successful hire, you will be involved in**:

- Monthly bookkeeping for Family Office and business entities;
- Inter-entity loan reconciliations;
- Raising internal invoices for review;
- Drafting of financial reports for review;
- Managing Family Office invoices and accounts;
- Reconciliation of Family Office expenditure;
- Assisting with monthly payroll obligations for review;
- Compiling information for BAS and other tax obligations for review;
- Reports directly to the Financial Controller;
- 2-5 years of experience in a family office, private clients/family office team in a professional services firm or similar;
- A Bachelors degree;
- Studying towards or completing a CA/CPA accreditation.
- Strong attention to detail;
- Strong communication skills;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
