**About the Role**
This is an opportunity for a motivated property professional seeking to develop their property management skills in an exciting and diverse portfolio of public land compromised of neighbourhood houses, childcare centres, libraries, car parks, community gardens, sports pavilions, lifesaving clubs, art galleries, theatres and a number of commercially leased buildings that include restaurants and kiosks.
The role supports delivery of a full scope of property management responsibilities, including drafting leases and licences, assisting tenants with their maintenance requests, ensuring lease compliance, researching property ownership, and delving into laneway discontinuance and sales.
**Duties**:

- Assist in the proactive management of the annual program of leasing and licencing renewals by drafting new agreements that support individual service requirements.
- Assist in the day-to-day management of the property portfolio including debtor control, lease compliance, rent reviews, insurance compliance, routine inspections, tenant management, and the coordination of Landlord consents for new agreements, maintenance, events, alterations and additions.
- Provide accurate and timely property advice especially relating to leasing and licensing for commercial, community and sporting groups.
- Assist with the discontinuance and sale of laneways in accordance with Council’s discontinuance policy.

**Skills and Experience**
- A relevant tertiary qualification and/or experience working in a complex property portfolio
- Proactive approach to problem-solving with well-developed analytical, investigative and research skills
- Well-developed, interpersonal skills including the ability to influence stakeholders and negotiate positive outcomes
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
