**Make-A-Wish**
Make-A-Wish is one of Australia’s most trusted charities and part of the largest wish-granting organisations in the world. We partner with children with life threatening conditions, their families, and medical teams to grant wishes as unique as the children who imagine them. At Make-A-Wish, our mission is to grant the wish of every eligible child as we believe these wishes complement treatment, build resilience and bring hope to these children and their families when they need it most.
**The Role**:
**Key responsibilities**:
- Engage with families, attentively listen to their needs, and explain the wish journey in a clear manner.
- Host onboarding calls, provide an overview of the wish journey, and gather essential information.
- Efficiently manage the wish journey from initiation to handover to the design team, meeting the wish program needs
- Send Wish Welcome packs and wish coins to families.
- Collaborate and support volunteers and provide administrative support as required.
- Using internal systems & software for managing tasks/projects.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the wish journey.
- Schedule and host Wish Capture calls with families as required.
- Communicate status and progress of wishes to our volunteers.
- Complete Wish concept briefs accurately ensuring we are granting the wish of the wish child
This exciting opportunity will suit someone who has a passion for giving, is detail-orientated and has exceptional organisation skills, but who also enjoys being creative and using their imagination.
- The position will enable you to play a critical role in making wishes possible for children in Australia._
**About you**:
- Previous experience in a fast-paced administration and customer/consumer service is highly preferred.
- Experience in assisting to onboard employees or participants into a program.
- Task orientated with strong project management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with and across teams, as well as the ability to work independently
- Good communication and influencing skills
- Strong work ethic, self-driven and proactive
- Problem solving skills and solution driven
- Experience using Salesforce is desirable
- Mature, reliable, and trustworthy
