These operations are our Rix’s Creek Mine northwest of Singleton, and our Bloomfield Mine east of Maitland. Coal from the Rix’s Creek Mine and Bloomfield Mine is railed to the Port of Newcastle and loaded onto ships using Port Waratah Coal Services (PWCS). Bloomfield is a founding member and shareholder of PWCS.- The Bloomfield Group also proudly owns and operates Kings Engineering, a leading NSW Engineering business and a biofuel processing operation.**About the role**

The Bloomfield Group is seeking to appoint a Warehouse Superintendent to be based at our Rix's Creek Mine and work across the business. The role will be responsible for managing the logistics and storage of all goods delivered to Sites. Work alongside internal customers to ensure goods make their way to the end user in an efficient manner.

**_ Key Responsibilities_**
- Lead the Warehouse team providing motivation, training and support
- Maintain robust inventory control practices, including cyclic stocktakes and regular reconciliations
- Take appropriate actions, where fraud, loss, waste or obsolescence are identified to prevent a recurrence and to adjust book values
- Support the completion of all necessary financial processes associated with the purchasing and warehouse functions
- Provide monthly reporting on key metrics
- Develop strong working relationship with key internal customers, including Maintenance managers and Group Asset Management.
- Maintain good relationships with suppliers to ensure that supplies/ services required are provided efficiently at a cost effective rate
- Work closely alongside Procurement Superintendent to monitor the Supply Chain and create a seamless Supply function
- Explore and implement new technologies to improve inventory tracking and reporting
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the Warehouse function

**_Essential Criteria_**
- 10 years’ experience in purchasing and inventory control in warehouse or industrial environment (mining preferred)
- Forklift experience and qualifications essential
- Computer literacy with preference in business ERP package, preferably Pulse
- Sound working knowledge of industry (open cut coal mining preferred), equipment and parts and willingness to understand the business needs and requirements
- Strong organisational planning and operational skills with ability to communicate and influence others
- Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
