Job Description

Reporting to the Supply & Contracts Superintendent, the Warehouse Coordinators role is to provide strong leadership to the Warehouse team and to manage functions, making sure they are effectively performed. As an integral member of the commercial leadership team, you will drive a high-performance culture, role modelling and reinforce the behaviours that align with the company’s values.

About the Role
Requirements of the role include:

• Acting as the strategic lead on all warehouse activities.

• Implementing programs and initiatives in accordance with the organisation’s values and commitment to continuous improvement.

• Supporting the strategy for the operation by appropriately resourcing the business plan to achieve current goals as well as sustainable levels of future performance.

• Coaching, mentoring and developing staff for succession planning.

• Provide visible leadership, advice and support to all direct reports.

• Maintain productive and harmonious relationships with peers across the HVO and other Commercial team members

• Monitor performance of the direct reports performance in terms of output, quality, efficiency, procedural compliance and escalate issues that may impact on that performance.

Roster and Location

• Monday to Friday professional roster

• Based on site at HVO (off Lemington Road)

About You

• Relevant Tertiary education.

• Experience in warehouse performance management.

• Extensive experience and knowledge of the warehouse and inventory disciplines.

• Previous experience in a similar role.

• Previous exposure with a large ERP system (preferably SAP).

• Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.

• Ability to liaise with key internal and external stakeholders.

• Ability to think strategically and execute strategies.

• Ability to accept responsibility and be accountable for actions.

• Proactively identification and escalation of issues and opportunities for improvement.

• Ability to lead cross-complex stakeholder conformance with all relevant processes and policies relating to warehousing.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in warehousing - Mining preferred

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
