**Summer Clerkships - 2024**

***The Legal Services Commission provides a range of legal information, advice, education and representation services based in our Adelaide office. As part of our development program we are offering paid Summer Clerkships for law students. This program provides the ideal stepping stone to a career in the legal assistance sector.

**Salary Range**

ASO1 - Hourly Rate $24.97 per hour + 25% Casual loading

**Placement Date**

Monday 29 January 2024 - Friday 23 February 2024

**The Role**

As well as a general introduction to the Legal Services Commission you will have an opportunity to spend time in each of the core practice areas (Advice, Criminal Law and Family Law) and undertake a range of duties including:

- Legal research
- Drafting documents
- Observing matters in court

**Eligibility Criteria**

You are eligible for consideration if you meet the following criteria:

- Live in South Australia
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Laws degree
