About the role
Reporting to the P & C Manager, and as a member of a professional, close-knit team, the P & C Business Partner is influential in advising, coaching and supporting managers to bring out the best in their people. This important role has a broad range of key responsibilities including:

- Provide high level, generalist advice and services across the employment lifecycle, to ensure LHG has knowledgeable, skilled, qualified and engaged staff
- Interpret industrial instruments and employment related legislation and policy and provide advice to staff and management re same
- Coach and provide advice to managers and supervisors in the development and maintenance of a positive workplace culture, and the prevention, and timely intervention and management, of workplace conflict and inappropriate behaviour
- Work with management to resolve complex employee relations matters and to successfully manage change
- Contribute to the development of P&C policy and implementation of strategic and organisation improvement initiatives
- Continuously improve P&C systems to ensure best practice, compliance, and an efficient, effective and engaged workforce

About you
A passionate P&C professional with experience in a similar role you value building lasting relationships with stakeholders of varying levels, and take pride in influencing positive outcomes. Your collaborative, solution-focused, proactive approach to continuous improvement and best practice will see you land on your feet quickly in this role. You will also have:

- Degree or Post Graduate qualification in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or similar
- Sound knowledge of employment related legislation and regulations and contemporary Human Resource practices
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
