**About the Organisation**

The City of Port Phillip is an inner-city council with around 1000 employees who deliver more than 100 programs and services to our residents, businesses and visitors. These range from childcare and immunisations, to libraries, management of parks and open space, rubbish collection, road maintenance and more. **About the Role**
- Join a small dynamic team who are passionate about improving transport choices in Port Phillip.
- Lead transport investigations for major projects including leading the Integrated Transport Strategy and implementing the Car Share Policy.
- Take pride in presenting well structured Reports and Briefings to Council and external stakeholders.
- Showcase your customer service skills in leading parking investigations and responding to the community in relation to Council’s Parking Management Policy objectives.
- Have a flair for delivering projects that enhance the liveability of Port Phillip.

**Duties**:

- Develop and deliver projects in line with Council’s Move Connect Live Integrated Transport Strategy.
- Provide policy advice that is informed by research, data and is well considered.
- Provide strategic transport planning advice on an interesting array of Council projects.
- Advocate for positive transport outcomes by liaising with various internal departments to ensure that transport projects are integrated across Council.
- Actively promoting mode shift in an inner-city environment with a rapidly growing population.

**Skills and Experience**
- Experience in project management of complex integrated transport projects in a State or Local Government environment.
- Successful delivery of transport projects on time and on budget.
