**About the Role**

This is an exceptional opportunity for Research Assistants to join the prestigious Trajectories and Predictors in the Clinical High Risk for Psychosis Population: Prediction Scientific Global Consortium (PRESCIENT) project at Orygen. As part of this groundbreaking research project funded by the National Institute of Mental Health, you will have the chance to contribute to cutting-edge research in the field of youth mental health. Working closely with a team of dedicated professionals and collaborating across multiple projects, you will play a vital role in recruiting participants, conducting assessments, collecting data, and building relationships with stakeholders. This role offers a unique chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people experiencing mental ill-health.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Recruit and consent research participants from a range of clinical programs and the community.
- Collect and record participant information and consent procedures ensuring confidentiality is maintained.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with clinical teams and other internal and external stakeholders.
- Actively participate in project team and/or division meetings and with guidance, contribute to planning activities or committee work to support capacity-building.

**Who We Are Looking For**

You are someone who possesses a strong interest in youth-onset mental health disorders and interventions, along with excellent communication skills for effective research collaboration and engagement. Additionally, you have well-developed organisation and time management skills, and you are flexible and responsive to changing priorities.

You will also have:

- Undergraduate degree with Honours in behavioural or social sciences or a related discipline
- Strong evidence of ability and desire to build an academic or research career trajectory
