**How will I help?**
The purpose of the Manager, Village Advice role is to ensure the villages in BL are proactively managing risks in their day-to-day operations (excluding risk in change & transformation) through strong oversight and risk advice. Contribute to the 'Village Advice' BCM team by: Providing risk and compliance advice to the Business Lending Line of Business villages; Providing advice on changes to existing obligations and/or new and existing Prudential obligations; Conduct Control-Self Assessment (CSA) testing (Design and Operational Effectiveness); Facilitating incident ownership; Providing advice to Business villages for BAU initiatives (excluding Strategic change and CAT A change); Supporting other BCM teams by providing insights/information for: Quarterly risk assessments; the Front Door of change for BAU change; BL reporting (including BL RISKCO, Financial Risk Forum, BWD RISKCO, RMS, etc); and Attestations (SOX) and Assessments (RMFMA & Risk Culture as they relate to all Business Lending villages. Contributing to a proactive risk culture which embodies our values and code of conduct. Drive the embedment of the risk framework and policy requirements and the effective risk management of issues, incidents and controls across BL.

**What do I need?**
5 - 7 years' experience in a large and complex organisation with relevant risk experience including experience in operational risk and risk in change. Proven ability to deliver quality risk outcomes in collaboration with key stakeholders. Excellent planning, organisational, collaboration and communication (written and verbal) skills. Continuous improvement mindset and enthusiasm to act as a change agent in supporting risk activities and drive an uplift in risk culture. Adaptive influencing and relationship building skills across senior executives and peers including strong negotiation and influencing skills
