Community and Media Lead

The Role

The Community and Media Lead is responsible for developing and implementing external communication activities (traditional media, digital media including social media, community engagement, and website content) to reach Cabrini’s B2B and B2C target audiences.

The role is permanent full-time with a hybrid work model seeing you work across sites and WFH remotely.

Key responsibilities include:
- Strengthening relationships with media outlets relevant to the strategic goals of the organisation.- Sourcing and sharing customer insights to identify potential issues (actual and emerging, liaising with internal stakeholders to resolve issues), and inform strategy and decision-making across the organisation.- The social media portion of the role is about managing and growing Cabrini’s social media presence, developing, tracking campaigns and reporting, managing Cabrini’s online community, managing social media automation and staying abreast of trends, and making recommendations in relation to current social media trends, channels, technologies, and tools.

About you

Coming from a large organisation you will be able to identify, source, and produce high-quality work in a timely fashion.

You will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in public relations, professional communication, journalism, marketing communications or professional digital communications- Excellent writing skills with a proven ability to interpret and prepare communication materials for a range of channels in an easy-to-understand, correct formatting tailored to the appropriate platform and audience demographic.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills particularly the ability to liaise with people at all levels of the organisation and with external stakeholders.- Well-developed conceptual, analytical, strategic communication, and organisational skills to support identification and solutions to communication issues/opportunities.- Strong professional experience in online, electronic and social media including the use of key & current platforms, digital dashboards, social media monitoring tools, and reporting- An understanding of traditional media such as print and broadcast.
