We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Clinician to join our team at Access Health and Community. As a key member of our youth services team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health support to young people aged 12-25.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for young people.
- Provide evidence-based psychological interventions, including individual and group therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with schools, community groups, and other stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to young people's care.
- Monitor and manage clinical risk, ensuring the safety and well-being of young people.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in psychology or social work.
- Current registration with AHPRA as a psychologist or registration with the AASW as a Mental Health Social Worker.
- Medicare provider number or ability to apply for a medical provider number.
- Minimum two years' experience working in youth, mental health, or community services.
- Experience in clinical risk assessment and management, including suicide risk assessment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software applications.
