An exciting opportunity exists for a Graduate to join the Mapping team in our Place and Environment division. In this role you will be part of a dynamic and innovative team of spatial specialists involved in fixed-wing aerial LiDAR survey.
The Graduate Geospatial Analyst will be responsible for providing a range of spatial services as they relate to Aerial LiDAR survey, including spatial data correction, data analysis, technical support, and technical reporting requirements.
This role requires a strong project management skillset with some client liaison. Reporting to the Senior Principle |Practice Leader - Mapping you will have the opportunity to work with multiple business units in RPS including globally to incorporate spatial and mapping services into infrastructure projects, energy and renewables, ecology, and environment.
**ABOUT YOU**
- Essential criteria:
- Self-starter with strong knowledge of spatial datasets.
- Excellent project management skills, including time management with an ability to plan own work and manage conflicting priorities
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail.
- Demonstrated high level communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Mandatory criteria:
- A qualification in GIS, remote sensing, survey or other related spatial sciences discipline
