**The Opportunity**

On behalf of a Federal Government Agency responsible for providing weather services to Australia and surrounding areas, we are looking for an
**E**
**L2 Manager - Business Improvement, Logistics, Data and Financial Governance**. This role will be based in Melbourne and is a 12 month opportunity with an immediate start.

**Duties include but are not limited to;**
- Using SAP and a number of edge systems and tools, lead and manage concurrent projects and programs of work, ensuring that they meet business requirements, Group/Program plans and Commonwealth mandated outcomes.
- Leading and managing diverse specialised finance teams with different deliverables and outcomes in project and business as usual settings, ensuring timelines are met.
- Manage and lead the logistics and warehouse operations
- Ensure effective financial management plans and strategies are in place, directing the development of effective Finance Operations services ti support internal customers and suppliers in line with Commonwealth mandated rules
- Provide strategic and analytical advice to stakeholders regarding the management of financial resources
- Develop, document and present opportunities which introduce system and process improvements, ensuring compliance with public sector legislative, policy and regulatory frameworks relating to financial management.
- Provide specialist advice and service support to internal and stakeholders including regular briefings and meetings on all aspects of financial management
- As a change advocate using best practice methodologies, lead, promote and support change, championing the ongoing program of transformation and change

**To be considered for this role you will demonstrate;**
- Bachelor of Accounting, with CPA, CA or CIMA qualification
- Experience in using and working with SAP ERP. SAP Concur experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and written) and develop relationships and effectively communicate accounting and data governance concepts to finance/non-finance staff
- Experience leading diverse operational teams, be able to prioritise and manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
