**The Opportunity**:
As the Sales Director Business Network APAC at Open Text you manage a team that is focused on understand their customers and how they can leverage B2B solutions that influences their productivity in a world where business relationships continue to evolve.

Business Network customers trust you and your team’s judgment to help them solve their most pressing business problems and to support them in their B2B solutions journey into becoming a digital enterprise. You and team will stop at nothing to help them find the right solution to positively impact the business, improve their most important business processes, or reduce their risks.

Drives and supports BU business models, go-to-market strategies, and sales/marketing initiatives for regional effectiveness. Ensures optimal and increased account coverage. Develops and grows salespeople to ensure a maximum productivity and to ensure qualified sales talent base that is ready and able to support future growth.

Specifically
- Deliver set sales quotas (License _[Off Cloud]_, NCV _[on Cloud]_ and Total Revenue _[Recurring On Cloud revenue])_ for your define territory.
- Contribute to the rollout of Business Network (BN) Go-to-Market principles and ensuring that your Direct reports as well as those not reporting to you understand the best practice when selling BN solutions.
- Preparing comprehensive territory plans for your direct reports, that is aligned with the APAC Go-to-Market plans
- Manage and Grow Software (License) sales through Partners
- Help your team to identifying and converting opportunities into sales. This may include you owning opportunities yourself where required to ensure annual sales targets are met.
- Working with your team to establish a best practice for Customer engagement with respects to contract renewal (both early and end of term).
- Manage the team to ensure skillful execution of each phase of the sales process from pipeline generation to closing the deal. This includes updating of SFDC as per OT guidelines provided by management
- In addition to yourself, ensure the team can masterfully present to clients and run effective meetings. This includes clearly articulating the value proposition of solutions and products.
- Contribute to the discussions with Product Management and Product Marketing on solutions required to help to drive sales growth in the region.
- Collaboration across all internal teams and resources to ensure you bring the best support solution for your team to deliver outstanding experiences to your clients.

**What it takes**:

- University or Bachelor’s degree, advanced university or Master’s degree preferred.
- 10 years of sales and progressive sales management experience
- 10 years of Enterprise Software (on and off cloud) experience.
- Demonstrated results in growing a business or expanding in difficult market conditions (e.g selling against lower cost domestic competitors).
- Experienced in managing sales professionals located outside of own office location.
- Detail
- oriented, with an ability to work both quickly and accurately.
- Strong communication skills, especially written
- Able to demonstrate an appropriate level of professional proficiency (e.g.: sales and marketing, project management, finance, etc.) in completion of tasks related to his/her area of expertise.
