NSW Department of Education has an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced individual to join the Asset Management team as a Manager, Programs Delivery.

**About School Infrastructure***

School Infrastructure NSW (SINSW) is delivering new school buildings, major upgrades and maintenance strategies to ensure every school-aged child has access to high quality education facilities at their local public school. This encompasses the largest investment in public education infrastructure in the history of NSW.

**About the role**

The role manages two specialist teams that provide an important range of services to schools including security risk assessments, the design of security systems for new and upgraded schools and technical support for various capital works projects within School Infrastructure NSW. The role is responsible for the delivery of the annual security initiatives program and ensuring the unit is providing a range of services to stakeholders to support security projects in schools throughout the state.

The role is an active member of the Unit’s senior management team which reviews and develops security initiatives and strategies to maximise the level of service that can be provided to schools.

**Skills and Experience**
- Well-developed management skills in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

**Essential requirements of the role**
- Driver’s licence - Class C. Travel to various school locations required.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education
