**About the Company**

My client is one of the world's leading suppliers of utility-scale renewable energy projects. They are known throughout the industry for delivering, operating, and maintaining high-quality, cost-effective projects across the globe.

**The Role**
The Logistics Coordinator is accountable to the Senior Logistics Project Manager for performing a variety of coordination functions associated with WTG delivery and logistics pricing requests and receipting of goods and services for our projects. The role will also assist with general project activities.

**The purpose of the role is to**:

- Supporting Senior Logistics PM to deliver assigned projects within prescribed targets for cost, time, and quality.
- Facilitate the shipping of WTG components from China to Australia
- Enhance communication among stakeholders/buyers/suppliers
- Reduce our risk of non-compliance with relevant importing and exporting legislation.
- Supporting Senior Logistics Project Manager to provide adequate and accurate logistics input to the Sales/Pre-contracts/Development team
- Assist the Program Management Department in ensuring the suitability and implementation improvement of systems and documentation to support the function

**The scope of the role is to**:

- Liaise with our team, Installation Supervisor, and Contractors during the components delivery period.
- Prepare relevant documents to support importing activities
- Makes sure the Port of Discharging capacity is kept at optimal levels
- Takes steps to avoid customs clearance-related issues
- Continually reviews freight costs, transportation rates, and/or the prices of relevant logistics services to help the sale team with new project bidding.
- Provide advice on logistics and supply chain pathways

**Requirements**:

- Mandarin speaking skills - highly advantageous
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in international shipping or heavy haulage preferred
- Wind industry, Power industry or Construction Industry related logistics experience is an advantage
