**WHO ARE WE?**
Style onQ are multi-award winning Stylists, based at Biggera Waters, Gold Coast. As our business is expanding, we are seeking an important team member to join our office team to support the Stylist, Set-Up team and Directors - like an all-round office administrator. We are very close team, who work closely (it’s a team effort)
**WHAT IS THE ROLE?**
We are seeking applicants for an Office Administrator.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- All aspects of administration (taking calls, basic invoicing and ordering, booking and finalising styling agreements etc). No two days are the same and we all work closely as a team, whilst also managing our own workload.
- Back-up the set-up team, including setting up and styling of weddings and events on location (such as installing and dressing the chairs with chair covers and sashes, assembling centrepieces, building structures such as backdrops etc)
- Extensive liaison (written and verbal) with clients about all of their event requirements, including but not limited to florals, with our team of in-house florists. As well as liaising with other teams regarding set-up progress, offering any assistance required.
- Liaising with wedding and event venues, coordinators and other suppliers
- Managing your time efficiently to meet strict deadlines
- Representing the business (presentation, speech, organisation and tidiness is very important)
This can be a fast paced and exciting environment, which is very rewarding to see the end result of a beautiful wedding or event. This role is vital to the success of someone's very special wedding day or event, so you need to understand and appreciate the importance of this (there’s no second chance to get it right another time).
**WHO IS SUITABLE?**
- IDEALLY have Wedding, Events, Styling/Creative/Design experience
- MUST have a high level of office, administration and computer skills (generally Microsoft Suite, basic accounts and other online programs which training will be provided for, but need the skills for such training)
- MUST feel comfortable and confident with all levels of clientele (2star venues to 5star resorts, and all ranges of clients - weddings, corporate etc)
- MUST have high attention to detail and excellent presentation
- MUST have excellent time management, organisational and communication skills
- MUST be eligible to work in Australia for a minimum of 3 years
- MUST have own transport and drivers’ licence
- MUST be fit and capable for labour intensive work and some heavy lifting (for any possible set-up shifts)
**WHEN & HOURS?**
We would like training to commence soon, but will wait for the right person.
This role would commence on a casual/part-time basis, and days are somewhat flexible (Tuesday to Fridays - approx. 24-32hrs per week) plus extra possible set-up shifts (as required, especially through peak season). However, we do envisage with the growth of the business that this role will likely develop into a full-time role and/or Stylist role.
