Right now, we’re seeking a Program Development Lead - Community Programs who will play their part in this shared purpose, while also supporting the progress of clients and colleagues so they can achieve great things. **About the role**

The purpose of this role is to develop and lead a number of TAC community road safety programs and contribute to implementing the strategic road safety business plan and objectives. The Program Development Lead - Community Programs will be responsible for the management and performance of the Local Government Grant Program and the Road Safety Grant Program for community groups, aiming to improve road safety and reduce road trauma.

**About the Team**

The Program Development Lead - Community sits within the Behaviour, Education & Community Branch, within the broader Road Safety Division. Working alongside a team of passionate road safety specialists, this role will give you the opportunity to collaborate with your dynamic and experienced colleagues, while also having freedom to work autonomously to achieve your business outcomes.

**What we’re looking for**

**Experience with state-wide community programs**
- Relevant qualifications and work experience with program development, management and evaluation
- Experience with grant program management and grant management systems
- Experience with community engagement and development
- Coordinate long-term community road safety programs with respect to project objectives, contracts, timelines, budgets, outcomes and evaluation activities

**Strong stakeholder engagement and management**
- Experience influencing, engaging and negotiating with experienced external stakeholder groups
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to present in a clear, concise and professional manner

**Passionate about road safety**
- Deep understanding and passion for the TAC’s mission, purpose and vision in the Victorian community
