**ABOUT THE ROLE**

- Band 8 Salary $112,811 plus 10.5% superannuation

We are seeking an experienced professional to support our Digital and Technology teams through a transformation journey to deliver high quality outcomes for the South Gippsland Shire Council community.
Reporting to the Manager Digital & Technology, this key role has responsibility for:

- Leading and managing a team of multi-disciplined individuals to implement and manage a suite of contemporary corporate information management solutions
- Ensuring community data and information is protected by adopting best practice procedures
- Raising awareness of the organisation in understanding their obligations in relation to data privacy and governance through education and training
- Primary internal contact for all things privacy related and to assist in handling of common staff queries
- Participation and collaboration to deliver digital and technology strategy, associated projects and improvement initiatives
- Continuous improvement of service delivery for all stakeholders through regular review, reporting, and consultation

**ABOUT YOU**
As a proven leader, you will demonstrate excellence in delivery of strategic technology outcomes with substantial background in Information Management in the public sector. Your will have tertiary qualifications to equivalent experience in records management and data governance and privacy.
You will also have considerable experience contributing to the development of organisational strategy and its implementation, proven ability to manage and lead a team, high quality analysis and problem-solving skills and a demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement.
