A welcoming Catholic Primary School, nestled in Melbourne's West, is on the search for a dynamic and creative Specialist Indigenous Studies Teacher to join their organisation committed to progression and inclusion. With a focus on Discovery, the school strives to give its students the opportunities to explore the world around them and their diverse community inside and outside the school environment.

**The Role**:
The foundation of the school is inclusion and allowing their students to thrive and have countless opportunities. Therefore, they are seeking a Specialist Indigenous Studies Teacher, preferably with an Indigenous heritage, to teach from experience and provide a wealth of knowledge their student cohort.

The role is the Full-Time equivalent (0.6) - Tuesday to Thursday, included in this is 3 hours of planning release. The goal is for students to acknowledge and participate in recognition of, and respect for, Indigenous peoples, knowledge, and culture.

**Pre-requisites**
- Have relevant qualifications
- Have registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
- Hold valid Australian Working Rights
