As the Governance Manager, you will report to the Senior Assistant Group Company Secretary and will be part of the Corporate Governance Team (CG) which provides strategic and innovative governance advice and services to the Board of ANZ, the Group Executive Committee and ANZ Group.
**Your key accountabilities in this role will include**:
Providing listed company corporate governance services with a focus on ASX Listing Rule and Corporations Act requirements, including in relation to the following areas:
Share Registry (including managing all dividends/distributions paid on ANZ ASX listed securities)
Continuous and Periodic Disclosure, including assisting with lodgement of all Stock Exchange announcements in compliance with all applicable rules
Financial and other reporting
Capital Raisings and administration of share plans and
Substantial shareholding reporting obligations.
Assisting with regular and timely reports for the Board and its Committees as required.
Working closely with, and ensuring a collaborative approach, with other internal ANZ teams, including being a valued member of the Corporate Governance and broader Legal team.

What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you’ll ideally bring the following:
Extensive experience paying dividends and distributions.
Experience in ASX Listing Rules and Corporations Act matters.
APRA Prudential Standard experience desirable, NZX and other international governance experience a benefit.
Consider yourself to be self-driven and autonomous in your approach.
Strong attention to detail and comfortable managing priorities and conflicting issues in a professional/risk-based manner.
Resilience and a fast-paced approach with a strong growth mindset.
Enjoy working in a small, cohesive team environment. People oriented with a proven ability to foster and develop excellent relationships both internal and external.
