The Opportunity
As a Maintenance Planner you will plan and schedule maintenance activities in a timely and cost-effective way to support factory performance objectives. Management of the CMMS and external contractors to comply with site safety policies. Take a lead role in asset management strategy; incl. development of asset failure prevention plans, failure RCA, critical spare holdings.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Plan for electrical & mechanical trades, as well as production operators & external contractors.
- Schedule maintenance work. Comply with 7 days ahead planning policy.
- Maintain a safe system of work in the workplace.
- Schedule maintenance work. Comply with 7 days ahead planning policy.
- Chair weekly planning meetings.
- Monitor CMMS for maintenance requests, schedule works & labour accordingly.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reference documents in an auditable system.
- Comply fully with the CSR WHSE Standard & Policy & WHSE legislation requirements
- Complete all hazard & incident investigations within 24 hours.
- Permit issuing; Confined Space, Hot Works, Working at Heights.
- Ensure effective communication of maintenance issues with process owners and engineering staff on a regular basis.
- Continuous Improvement of the Maintenance System & support of the CSR Way & LEAN Program/s.
- Assist the Engineering Manager in manage the maintenance shutdown process.
- Take ownership of the CMMS & manage system to meet plant requirements.
- Manage external contractors on site via contractor management system.
- Ensure plant & equipment critical compliance registers are maintained.

In addition to the above, you will be instrumental in the improvement of our maintenance system, supporting the CSR Way and LEAN programs. Your expertise will help enhance Preventative, Predictive, and Proactive Maintenance Processes, conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis, optimize PM selection and processes, and drive TPM improvements.

About You
- Strong experience in maintenance planning and demonstrated knowledge and understanding of maintenance processes within a FMGC manufacturing environment.
- Engineer Degree (preferrable Mechanical). Newly graduated are also welcomed to apply.
- Experience in Contract Management
- SAP System experience
- Excellent written and verbal skills

Preferred, although not essential
- Project management experience
- Experience in LEAN Manufacturing
- CAD capabilities eg AutoCAD
