**Your Role**:
As a **Call Centre Operator,** you will play a key role as you will be the point of contact for members of the public making donations, general enquiries and seeking assistance. This role is maximum term 12-month contract based inAuburn.

You will be joining a supportive and inclusive** **work environment where you can contribute meaningfully to the community and make a real difference to people's lives.

**Your Responsibility**:

- Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner.
- Identify customers’ and donor's needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions and/or alternatives.
- Clear voice mail messages on a regular basis.
- Contribute to the successful implementation of the Strategic Plan within their team.
- Organise pick-ups and donations from donors.
- Assist with administrative tasks as required.
- Contribute to a safe working environment for members, staff and volunteers by implementing the Society’s workplace health and safety practices.
- Contribute to the effective risk management protocols and procedures are in place to ensure compliance with legal, employment and governance requirements.

**You Will Need**:

- Previous call centre experience.
- Demonstrated experience in office procedures.
- Good Interpersonal and organisational skills, including the capacity to manage inbound and outbound calls and meet strict timelines.
- Good written and oral communication skills, including a demonstrated capacity to communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds.
- Good listening skills.
- Typing skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Demonstrated skills in MS Office programs.
- Willingness to upskill and be trained as required.
