**About the role**

Due to an internal promotion (yay), we are seeking a new Planning and Environment Adviser to join our Southern Eastern Program Alliance (SEPA) team located in Ringwood East. The role will be responsible for providing technical advice to the wider organisation around planning and environmental matters impacting the delivery of LXRP's program of works.

On a day-to-day basis you’ll find yourself:

- Providing advice to project teams and assisting in the resolution of planning, environment, and heritage issues.
- Undertaking research and / or analysis to support content of technical reports, including but not limited to analysis of planning controls, and submissions analysis.
- Gathering relevant documentation to finalise the completions stage of projects.

This role reports to the Senior Planning & Environment Specialist who has 18 years of experience in the statutory planning and urban design space. Their leadership style is to be supportive and encouraging of their staff to empower them to do their best work. We are keen to develop our staff and love to see them grow and thrive in their career.

This is a 3-year fixed term position, paying a salary between $91,418 - $103,725 + superannuation + 17.5% leave loading, with a hybrid working arrangement (2 - 3 days from the CBD or project site office at Croydon or Ringwood East and 2 - 3 days working from home).

**About you**

We'd also love if you have:

- Experience in providing technical advice on, planning and environmental issues in a major project context, including the management of publicly owned land.
- Experience in preparing planning, heritage, and environmental approvals documentation.
- Knowledge of priorities, policies, and processes at all levels of government.
