Education Centre Assistant/academic Tutor

Kumon Education Centres offer students of all ages individualised study programs in mathematics and English.

Currently, one of our Kumon centres in the Clayfield area is seeking a casual staff member to assist in the operations of its education centre.

If you have strong maths & English skills, and would love to work with children, then this may be the role for you

Main duties include:

- Mark and record students’ class work and homework

Other duties in the future may include:

- Motivate and encourage students to learn
- Provide hints and assist students with maths and English class work
- Possibility of working with pre-school students

You must be:

- Proficient in maths and English
- Organised and able to multi-task
- A fast learner and responsible
- Able to work on both of the below two days
- Living near the Kumon centre

- Afternoon shift
- Evening shift
- Flexible hours
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

COVID-19 considerations:
All employees need to wear a mask and full hand sanitising and cleaning/wiping down of desks where children work is completed regularly.

Licence/Certification:

- Working with Children Check (required)
