This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administrator or Executive Assistant with experience in the civil or construction industry, or an interest to do so. Our client is a multidisciplinary family-owned civil contractor with their own plant hire fleet, providing comprehensive civil and earthworks services nationally.

This National Civil Contractor are seeking an Executive Assistant with a minimum of 2 years’ in a support role and a strong administrative background. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about construction and looking to support senior management.

Reporting to the Director & General Manager, responsibilities will include, but not limited to include:

- Answering phone calls, managing general queries and directing calls
- Diary management and provide high-level administrative support to the General Manager, Director and the office team
- Coordinate flight and accommodation bookings when required
- Manage inbox, incoming and outgoing mail
- Manage social media platforms including LinkedIn and website with assistance from outsourced website specialist
- Manage and update capability statements and marketing material
- General documentation management, uploading onto internal system
- Additional general office administration

Previous experience in a similar role, organised with a positive attitude and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Beneficial to have worked within the construction industry, but not essential. This person will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to multitask with high attention to detail. Must be flexible and adaptable to workload and help the team where required. Proficient in Microsoft Suite i.e Outlook, Microsoft Word & Excel and beneficial to have Adobe Creative Suite experience with a creative flare.
