Courtside is currently seeking a dedicated and efficient Junior Dishwasher to join our busy boutique food court. As a Junior Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in our kitchen. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are washed, dried, and stored properly. Additionally, you will work closely with the kitchen team to maintain a clean and organised workspace.

**Responsibilities**:

- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using the dishwasher or by hand, ensuring proper cleanliness and sanitation.
- Dry, stack, and store clean dishes and utensils in designated areas.
- Assist in cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment, such as ovens, grills, and fryers.
- Empty trash containers regularly and ensure proper disposal of waste.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and floors.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of clean dishes.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist with other tasks as assigned by the kitchen manager or supervisor.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and take direction from supervisors.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed within designated timeframes.
- Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation practices is a plus.
- Flexibility to work weekdays from 12 pm to 3:30 pm.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 16 per week

**Salary**: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
