**Location**: For this role, we are open to remote work and can hire anywhere in Australia.

What you’ll get to do
- Liaise with external and/or internal clients to gather and analyse business requirements - be the voice of the customer
- Collaborate with Engineering/QA throughout the SDLC to ensure effective and efficient delivery of high quality solutions that deliver business value
- Develop business requirements/functional specifications that effectively articulate user experience, business scenarios, complex calculations and acceptance criteria
- Work with consulting and sales teams to ensure knowledge transfer of new features and benefits
- Keep up to date with technology, software development, HR, legislation and payroll industry developments and trends
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define resourced, achievable product roadmaps aligned to business needs
- Work with Product Managers and Snr Product Managers, sales and account management where required on product roadmap and sales presentations along with prioritization, requirements and feature scope
- Participate in the launch of new product features internally and externally

Skills and experience we value
- Basic functional knowledge of Payroll and/or HR business processes
- An understanding of product SDLC - software engineering experience
- Effective communication skills of both business and technical concepts at all levels
- Experience working with Off-shore development teams is desirable but not essential
- Ability to digest, distill and communicate complex concepts in simple, understandable ways
- Payroll and/or HR systems experience highly regarded but not essential
- Proficient with personal computer tools, preferably Jira, Confluence, Balsamiq, Lucidchart, Microsoft Windows, Powerpoint, Word, Excel etc.
