Brake Press Operator

Our client is a leading Australian sheetmetal and general metal fabrication provider specializing in the design and manufacturing of costomised solutions. Currently, we are seeking an enthusiastic Brake Press Operator to join their team.

Tasks and responsibilities:

- Daily operation brake press machine
- Program and set up of machine software
- Ability to change tooling for different bends according to technical drawings
- Ongoing checks and adjustments to ensure high quality production
- Recalibration and routine maintenance
- Ensure that daily production levels are met
- Coordination with factory Manager to optimise production processes
- Sheetmetal fabrication experience essential

- Able to work in a team environment with or without supervision
- Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
- Interact with other team members in professional manner
- Demonstrate problem solving skills and have a high degree of self motivation
- Ability to be flexible and handle multiple tasks running concurrently
- Posses experience in the use of hand and power tools
- Have excellent communication skills
- Positive attitude and be physically fit
- Have the ability to priorities work tasks

- Monday to Thursday 7am to 3:30pm, Friday 7am to 1pm

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $37.50 - $41.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Keysborough, VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Brake Press Operator: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
