Principal Methodologies and Tools Advisor within a high profile ICT projects
- Oversee project management framework continuous improvement

Emphasising community preparedness, prevention, and response, Queensland Fire and Emergency Services is a multifaceted organisation providing crucial services such as fire and rescue, disaster management, Rural Fire Services, and State Emergency Services.

Joining a newly structured team and reporting to a dynamic Executive Manager, you will play a key role in
- overseeing and delivering continuous improvement activities of the program and project management methodologies, frameworks, tools and templates
- the design, publication, implementation, compliance and delivery of standards and techniques aligned to industry best practice project mythologies and supporting capability which enables programs and projects to deliver in a consistent, and structured manner

To enhance the continuous success of our department and its frontline services, your varied responsibilities will encompass:

- spearheading the creation and execution of effective capabilities to implement cutting-edge program and project management methodologies and tools
- project planning and provision of management solutions ensuring that the ICT portfolio is strategically evolving to establish effective project capabilities for the ongoing program of work

To qualify for this role, you need to demonstrate your capacity to build and sustain impactful working relationships with stakeholders across corporate and frontline domains. Your skills in negotiation and influencing will be crucial, particularly when dealing with sensitive and complex matters related to capability and risk mitigation.

In this position, you will have the chance to contribute within a service organisation that plays a substantial role in positively impacting the general public.

**Please note the position is a fixed term contract employed directly with QFES, the salary range is $135-145,000 inclusive of superannuation and is initially a contract through to June 2024 with a view to extend for a further 12 months.**
