Manager Cabinet and Parliamentary Submissions

The role within the Health Capital Division is responsible for providing high level advice on Cabinet and Executive Council requests such as Cabinet Submissions, Executive Council Minutes, Ministerial requests, and Government Election Commitments across Queensland Health's capital program. This role also proactively supports the broader needs of the Department, HCD and HHS's in providing strategic insights into the delivery of the Queensland Health capital acquisition program.
The successful person
- High level knowledge of the functions, operations and procedures of contemporary executive government, with reference to Cabinet, Executive Council and Parliament.
- Proven high level research and analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to provide advice on policy and operational issues of a complex nature.
- High level written and oral communication skills, including consultation skills with an ability to liaise and negotiate with officers at all levels of Government.
- Proven discretion, tact and professional integrity and a proven record in handling sensitive and confidential matters.
- Proven capacity to work under pressure, establish priorities and meet rigid deadlines with a high standard of accuracy.
