Join Saputo Dairy Australia in a fulltime permanent opportunity as a Fleet Training Lead at our site based in Leongatha.

How you will make contributions that matter

Operating within the Supply Chain - Fleet and Compliance team you will ensure all Inbound Logistics Milk Tanker Drivers are trained and competent. You will be responsible for developing, managing and administering training to relevant trainers and drivers in respective regions as per SDA’s company training program.

Key elements of your role will include:

- Providing appropriate levels of training for staff who operate Heavy Vehicles for SDA
- Recording individual training documents into relevant company record management systems
- Reporting individual driver findings to relevant transport managers where required
- Ensuring that all Logistics activities are undertaken in accordance with heavy vehicle legislative requirements and that all CoR responsibilities are identified and developed
- Updating and developing existing training programs which involves conducting a training needs analysis and developing appropriate training materials

About you
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is highly desirable
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Multi Combination (MC) Licence is preferred but not essential
- Milk meter knowledge (S12) and milk collection knowledge
- Understanding of the relationship between Inbound Logistics (Farm Pick Up Operations) and the needs of both the factories and suppliers
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Inbound Logistics industry including operating, service delivery and commercial models (In-house, 3PL, owner drivers), as well as industry regulations around CoR, Basic fatigue management, Mass management and HACCP
