The Compulsory Third Party (CTP) Regulator is an independent Statutory Body, appointed with administrative and financial responsibility of the MAIAS (Motor Accident Injury Accreditation Scheme).

The CTP Regulator is responsible for delivering a fair and competitive CTP Scheme with choice, ease and confidence for the SA community. The CTP Regulator has oversight of monitoring and regulating CTP Insurer activities and is responsible for the premium setting process. These activities ensure that a fair and competitive Scheme is maintained, improving Scheme performance for motorists and injured people.

Reporting to the Director, Analytics and Performance, the Claims Performance Manager is accountable for the strategic management and leadership of the CTP Scheme’s claims performance and injury recovery.
As a member of Senior Management Team, the incumbent will have direct reports ), and will Chair the Claims Performance Review Committee.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Monitor claims performance of CTP Insurers using information from multiple sources such as data reports, insurer compliance audits, insurers’ business plans.
- Be accountable for investigating and responding to issues and complaints raised about claims management and CTP Insurers.
- Identify claims performance issues and manage them to successful resolution using the Regulator’s Compliance Framework where necessary.

**Key requirements to be successful in this role**:

- Significant experience in the personal injury insurance industry, in particular claims management, and a demonstrated capacity to develop and implement strategies and initiatives to support CTP Insurance operations.
- Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining sound working relationships with CTP Insurers, industry stakeholders (Lifetime Support Authority (LSA), ReturnToWorkSA (RTWSA)) and other Government Agencies.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with proven ability to develop and maintain strong and effective working relationships with people at all levels.
- Significant experience in leading teams and taking action to improve the delivery of quality outcomes.

In this role you will be required to think broadly and test assumptions to ensure claimants are provided access to services supporting early recovery and return to usual activities and work. The role requires the ability to inspire and influence others towards achieving organisational goals and business objectives.
