**About the Role**:
We currently have a 12-month opportunity available for a capable and highly motivated Contestable Work Field Auditor to work in a supportive, busy and highly respected team in our business. In this role we want you to have access to flexible working arrangements to help your work / life balance (negotiable with your manager).

This interesting role forms part of a wider team and works closely with contestable work customers and stakeholders throughout the process lifecycle to ensure positive customer and network outcomes. This is achieved through effectively managing a range of processes including field and desktop auditing, process and technical standard consultation/coaching and proactive customer engagement.

Using your stakeholder management and customer service skills you will provide coaching and guidance before and during the audit process to facilitate positive outcomes. Working closely with relevant stakeholders, you will undertake field/desktop audits, (including open trench/project in progress audits) for contestable work projects/developments.

This fixed term role plays an important part of our audit process and is an amazing opportunity to work with our team. Please note that this position will be based out of our Ardeer depot.

**Some further key duties and responsibilities**:

- Obtain appropriate access to sites to undertake audits including conducting JSEA prior to commencing an audit, as well as entering audit findings into company systems and databases
- Maintain a detailed knowledge of technical requirements including overhead and underground distribution systems and metering and servicing.
- Work with customers, team members and other parts of the business to facilitate positive customer outcomes, as well as actively promote and facilitate a healthy team and service-oriented environment.

**Required skills and experience for his role**:

- Detailed knowledge of the distribution network, as well as overhead and underground policies and practices
- Strong stakeholder and customer service skills, as well as experience in negotiating and communicating with various relevant parties
- Relevant auditing experience on a distribution network including metering and servicing network experience
- A technical or trade qualification in the electrical field
