BoardOutlook was founded in 2019 on the belief that we could build software to help more boards become great boards, for the collective benefit of directors, shareholders, employees and society as a whole. Since that time, we have worked with hundreds of boards and thousands of directors. BoardOutlook is hiring our first full-time UX designer to work closely with Product and Engineering leadership to shape this quickly growing product.

**2. About this role**:
If you take this role, your challenge will be designing elegant and useful products for the most senior decision makers at the largest organisations around the world.

Both founders of our startup are design trained and we receive regular positive feedback from our core users on the look and feel of the product. Our ability to build fit for purpose, easy to use products has helped us differentiate. In this role you will be expected to build on our early success as we expand our product suite. You’ll be responsible for:
Deeply understanding our core users and designing beautiful yet practical solutions

Establishing a consistent design language across our evolving product suite

Collaborating with our product manager, engineers, and other stakeholders to create intuitive and user-centric designs

Translating user research and business requirements and wireframes into prototypes, and high-fidelity designs

Conducting user research, interviews, and usability testing to ensure design decisions are data-driven

Designing user flows, sitemaps, wireframes, and interactive prototypes to demonstrate design ideas

Ultimately, we see this role as critical to unlocking value for our clients and the business and enabling our Product and Engineering team to execute even more efficiently.

Notably, as the first full-time dedicated UX resource at Board Outlook you will be empowered to establish a design practice as we grow from startup to generational organisation.

**3. About you**:
At a minimum you have:
At least 5 years of UX design experience

Experience designing tools for complex, multi-user workflows in B2B environments

Demonstrable experience evolving early prototypes to final designs

Proven ability to design, run, and analyse usability tests to validate design solutions

Familiarity with optimising UX through A/B testing methods to assess the effectiveness of design variations

Proficiency in design software (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)

Excellent written and verbal communication, particularly in articulating design choices to non-designers

Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and data scientists, ensuring alignment between UX and business goals

Ability to take complex processes or workflows and break them down into simple, user-friendly experiences

Experience working in a startup or smaller business (
