**Your new role**

Reporting to the Manager, Incidents, the Risk Analyst is a key member of the Line 1 Risk and Compliance Team in the Member Domain. Providing the Risk and Compliance Team and key stakeholders with guidance and support on the end-to-end management of incidents. This will include conducting a thorough root cause analysis and assessments of incidents and breaches. You will assist in identifying risk reduction activities, control enhancements and/or new controls that deliver balanced business outcomes and contributing to the continuous improvement of Fund processes and controls.

**You will need to be a strong independent worker in a dynamic and fast paced work environment.
Key duties include but are not limited to:

- Working closely with Member, Risk and Compliance colleagues and incident owners to drive the timely completion of impact and compliance assessments.
- Working with relevant stakeholders to conduct root cause analysis to assist in the development of appropriate remediation response plans.
- Help the business identify and develop sustainable and commercial solutions for implementation that mitigate further incidents occurring. Provide general support and assistance to the Risk team as required.

**What you’ll need**
- 3+ years in Operational Risk, Compliance, Internal or External Audit, Fraud Management preferably in financial services.
- Superannuation experience highly advantageous
- Experience in incident, breach and/or fraud management highly desirable including the use of GRC technologies.
- Working knowledge of risk and compliance frameworks including incident and breach management.
- Good understanding of controls management practices including root cause analysis.
- RG146 desired
- Critical thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Including having a structured approach to problem solving and being able to communicate complex factual scenarios in an easily digestible manner.
- Strong written and oral communication/ interpersonal skills with the ability to present ideas, perspectives, and issues to a range of audiences including non-risk colleagues, 2nd line colleagues and senior stakeholders. Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
