**About the role**

You will contribute to managing the care of patients in the Dermatology Department at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, in consultation with the responsible Registrars, Consultants, Visiting Specialists, Nurses and Allied Health professionals. As part of your role, you will actively contribute to Continuous Quality Improvement and education activities. Documenting presenting problems and medical history, you will ensure that examination of patients is broad enough to uncover other problems that may exist, and provides a working diagnosis that justifies the need for any investigations which may be ordered. You will also consult with the Registrar or Consultant where any concern relating to diagnosis or clinical condition exists. The new Royal Adelaide Hospital is the largest hospital in South Australia, providing world class health care and facilities. Holding a Bachelor of Medicine or equivalent, you will be registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner. You must have completed an internship in a hospital environment, and demonstrate competency in range of routine and common procedural ward-based skills. Working well both as a team member and individually, you will bring the ability to communicate confidently and appropriately with patients and their families, displaying a high degree of empathy.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
- Working with Children Check
