**A day in the life of a Teacher**
TAFE NSW is looking for an individual with current industry experience and knowledge in Aboriginal Health or related areas to join our team of teachers.

The role of the TAFE Teacher as a professional educator is to help, construct, guide and enhance the educative process. The teacher delivers educational programs and facilitates learning, enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes.

**About You**
To be considered for this position, you will need to meet the essential requirements:

- Identify as Aboriginal and /or Torres Strait islander and be accepted and recognised in the community as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person
- Hold a Certificate IV TAE40116 or equivalent
- Hold a Diploma level or above in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Health or related field
- Minimum of three years post-qualification experience in industry relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously
- Preferred accreditation with AHPRA as an Aboriginal Primary Health Care Practitioner

**OR**
- Hold a Degree or higher qualification in Allied Health; and
- Current experience in working with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people

**Requirements to work at TAFE NSW**
