As an Electrical Fire Technician you will be working with our major clients around Canberra on a variety of
sites, from residential apartments, commercial complexes, schools and hospitals. The key responsibilities
include inspecting, testing, maintaining and installing a wide range of fire protection equipment. You will be
responsible for endorsing equipment for certification. Customer service is also an integral part of your role.
- Testing fire panels, pumps and emergency warning systems including emergency lighting and

portable fire equipment
- Adhering to all WHS requirements for each client site
- Testing of EWIS and Building Occupant Warning Systems
- Completing all maintenance log documentation
- Raising defect reports
- Being an integral member of the “On-Call Team, handling Emergency out of hours call outs when

required
- Supporting other teams and staff
- Electrical trade qualifications;
- Telecommunications open cabling licence.
- Current manual ACT drivers licence;
- Reliability and a commitment to high work standards;
